Apple watch was good loved it there is a lot to love with the apple watch series for now we’re gonna walk you through the top features welcome everyone it is Andrew from apple insider and we’re gonna start our list with the updated digital crown it actually has a lot more parts baked inside of it and yet it is overall smaller in size has a few new features including the ability to have hap tic feedback as you actually rotate the dial its somewhat similar to the tracked on a macbook pro when the thing is off its not gonna do anything but when you’re on a list and you spin it you’ll feel feedback i’m kind notching as you it’s really a pleasant effect and helps you go more granularly especially without even looking the new apple watches also have an all ceramic back previously certain models like the stainless steel or the ceramic complete ones would have a ceramic back but now the entire back of the watch is ceramic and not just the round heart rate sensor in the middle if we compare this to one of the older models that has just a normal metal back and it actually has a glass piece there in the center you can see it was even scuffed up over time just from having it on the wrist the ceramic is going to be a lot more durable and it’s goanna cover the entire back which is going to help cellular and Wi-Fi reception this here is the series 3 stainless steel model which still has a metal back but a ceramic plate in the center so now the entire back is ceramic improved reception and new heart rate functionality speaking of that new heart rate functionality the new apple watch is capable of taking an ECG while there’s heart rate functionality on others like just taking heart rate monitor a high or low heart rates the new apple watch is able taking an ECG ther’s actually two metal electrodes one inside the digital crown and this metal apart here right..
HARDWARE:
The hardware here has been fully redesigned there’s new sizes, new screens, new speakers, and of course there are new features inside it. but it still looks like an apple watch so, let’s really get into it. so, with the series 4, there two new sizes, there 40 millimeter and 44 millimeters, this is the 44mm now before this I was using the 42 mm size the bigger size on the series 3, and its only subtly bigger than it was before, but its also subtly thinner and to me, the trade-off is totally worth it.
BEST FEATURES
Custom Message Replies: Here when you receive messages if you scroll down you can see there’s quick responses here that you can send back but maybe you want to add your own customized responses so this is very easy all you have to do is open the watch app on your phone and go to messages and here in default replies you can go ahead and add a reply type in the reply that you wish to add hit done and it will be saved to the apple watch
Find Your iPhone: This is very useful if you lost your phone you can press this fine iPhone button on the control center and it will activate a noise on your iPhone so that you can find it if you force press on it then the flash will also light up on your iPhone making it easier to find
Take Screenshots: Can press the power button and the crown at the time and it will take a screenshot of the apple watch you can open up your photos on your iPhone and the screenshot will show up there as a well as well to enable this just open up the watch app on the phone go to general and enable screenshots
Emergency SOS & Contacts: This is very useful in the event an emergency you can press the power button and it will give you the option to slide to call an emergency you can also set up context to that in the event that you do call emergency it will send a notification to your designated contacts you can add them here you” ll have to set up a medical id with your information and select the contacts that you wish to notify in the event of an emergency number
Set Heart Rate Monitor: Heart rate monitor will measure your heart rate at all times and you can set up to receive notifications if your heart rate i elevated or is low here you can set it to be notified if your heart rate goes above a certain beat for a minute or you can set if it goes below a certain beat per minute
Weather App: Here with the weather app if you select the weather app once you select your location you can force press on the screen and it will give you different options here to select from you can check the condition of the weather the temperature or the percentage of rain
